Cleveland Design Competition
By admin 2 02 2010This is the 3rd Design Competition held by the Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative, this 2009 competition was focused on a new Lakefront Multi-Modal Transportation Center in Downtown Cleveland. It speaks to the new energy and potential growth in the changing landscape of Downtown Cleveland. The event was held in the Colonial Market Place in the heart of Downtown Cleveland. The designs submitted are creative and stimulating, some would bring new buildings others would bring new green space. All are worth looking at and exploring. We need to grow as a unique city with its own sense of place. Cleveland has an open landscape with opportunity to reconfigure its physical layout and function. Can we do it? Cleveland is the heart of the region and will continue to be, so will we need a pace maker maybe and this could be it! Choose the correct design and make it happen.
